Hey all,

Just got a camera and have been messing around with it, trying to figure it out and such. I did a hack job of the Deep Peace solo.

Anyways,

I'll make another one with the whole guitar in the shot and no mistakes. But for now, it is what it is!

Peace out!

Couple of mistakes, but it sounds great. Excellent!

man, great vid!
The tone REALLY sounds like dev's, and the playing is really good!

I don't know if i'm just being a fanboy here, but the only thing i didn't like that much was that the playing was a bit too "clinical" on some parts, like on some of the arpeggios in the mid section and in the riff at 2:17. Probably if you got more used to the piece it'd flow more naturally, and be more like the original (by using the word "original" here and ignoring the fact that a cover actually has the "accent" of the player, i guess i am, in fact, being a fanboy  ).

But awesome job anyway :D

Hey thanks for the insight. I uploaded a tab years ago... might have it somewhere. The video is what it is. I knew it was sloppy and just wanted to upload something with my new camera. By the way, check out my cool albino turtle! (in user vids)

I'll post some other guitar stuff for open C soon for lessons on arpeggio, 4 note per string patterns, etc. If someone can gain something from it, great. If not, check out the turtle!

By the way, I must say for the tone, Schecter guitars sound awesome. They are the most underrated guitars out there and just sound awesome. Its all the guitar! In the vid you are hearing a small practice amp and a Boss ME-30 with it.

Haha cool! Glad ya liked the little weirdo! I put up another vid last night. I still have to figure this camera out... its not the clearest. It has some arpeggios in slow and some scales. I should probably do one on chords... Anyways, much will come soon. I kinda want to put these out there to see what other players do with it so they can contribute and we can learn a lot about this tuning. Cheers!

I really liked the arpeggio video man, thanks for that! Any sort of educational information about this tuning seems very rare indeed. I just spent a good part of the morning replaying that video and trying to figure out what is going on. You really sped up after the 3rd position though and I pretty much gave up, but it's alright because I know I'll spend a bit more time messing with it and I'll figure out what you did.

Keep em coming!

Btw, love the turtle! So does a friend of mine I showed it to
