Hey guys, this may seem like a pointless topic but I need help with something and I'm rather useless.

Basically I want to sell my Ibanez RGT42BP and don't really know what to ask for it. I bought it for about 500 pounds (had a nice discount) it should have been 550 or around that (if I remember correctly).

Here's a link to some info about the model:

And a picture

There's only one dent on it as far as I can see and that's actually behind the guitar near the bottom strap lock. The volume knob has faded from being a dark colour to silver through use, apart from that it's all shiny and nice with everything it came with.

Ibanez don't make these anymore, not sure if that'd affect anything? Anyway, thanks in advance for any help and replies.

Sounds like its in pretty good condition for three years of ownership!

I guess that now its discontinued, it will be slightly more valuable, but you'd have to give an estimate of what you would ideally hope to sell it for.

yeah I always treat my guitars well ;)

Would 400 be too much to hope for in your opinion? Anything over that would be lovely but I'm just lost when it comes to money and all that stuff :P

Given the condition its in and its discontinued status, I would say anywhere between 350 and 400 would be pretty good so in my opinion 400 would be perfectly reasonable :)
