I love this, the silly names people give their instruments.

What did you name your instrument and why?

My ESP's name is Darlene. Why? Because its a really hick sounding name and must be pronounced with a thick southern american accent.

My yamaha bass' name is Mr. Bass, inspired by one of my favourite comedies Spaceballs.

I refer to them as "my guitars".

Pronounced with a southern accent to go with Darlene

I don't call my guitars by any names but I do have names for them...

I can't actually remember most of them but I know my Fernandes is called Conker because of a strange mark it has near the pickup selector that reminds me of a conker.

I need a name for my guitar-thing I am building. You are obviously somebody that appreciates the importance of naming your instruments, so I want you to give me a suggestion mine.

Yesterday I recieved the suggestions of "Brain Shitter" and I was quite fond of "Kurt Russel" also.

I like "Mr Bass". It sounds very elegant. I imagine Mr Bass sitting in an armchair smoking a pipe.

That's a typical guitar hoob bedroom shredder comment, I play bass but I'm a musician as I appreciate all instruments and types of good music. My bass is not a lesser guitar, it is a bass and a prime as fuck bass as well.

I have to admit, I am way better at naming bongs (my current one is Optimus Bugle). How about, Shitstorm?

I call my Mayones-made Ibanez RG copy Ibayones. Or Mayobanez, depending on mood. Not most original I guess.
