Aloha from London. new here. im basically here to pilfer some info off anyone whos willing to gimme! and to appreciate the sounds of Devin of course.....

yup, i basically wanna know what sequencer Dev uses for his work. Anyone know why he uses that particular one? or does he just use whatever is available?

im lookin into getting some sequencing software at the mo' but it seems that the more i look into it, the less it really matters. they all seem to do the same thing...i guess the difference is plugins and softsyths?

i already got ezDrummer on order now i just need some sequencing software....something idiot proof maybe?

Cheers.

and eternal thanks to mr townsend to supplying me with the audio candy!

This has been covered many times, but anyways. Devin uses Nuendo and Ableton Live.

There isn't really any idiot proof sequencer, the good ones are all pretty complex. Just RTFM and you will be fine.

covered many times? oh sorry- i done a big search on it but didnt come up with anything- apart from one guy saying he does it all on windows sound recorder! you would have to be super SUPERhuman to use that and get his results.

right, thanks for the help.

But RTFM dont always work seen as some dont come with NFM at all.

Not sure on the reliability of this source, but in here Devin supposedly talks about Pro Tools LE....so not sure if that's something he's been using lately
