				Hi:
new to the forum. I understand that on Ziltoid, Devin is using DFH Superior for drums. I'm curious as to whether they will be programmed, or if a controller will be used.
I'm asking because I'm thinking of getting the program myself.
Thanks,
Tony

I think he programmed them, not too sure
In my honest opinion, if your a musician that loves recording solo, DFH is worth every penny.

Thanks for the reply. yes i am a musician that likes recording solo, especially at 3AM lol.
I was kind of on the fence between dfh superior and BFD, bit i think that dfh gets the nod. especially after watching the demo.

I have EZ Drummer with DFH. How different is it from the actual program itself?

I'm not sure. I have EZ Drummer, and was thinking of getting the DFH expansion pack, versus the whole DFH superior
I think DFH Superior has a lot more control over kit tweaking, like the mic leakage control etc. EZ Drummer has some control over the sounds, but is more pf a midi file player.
not sure if there are midi files included in DFH Superior

Actually EZD has the same level of mic leakage control as dfh Superior has. However, dfh Superior has a lot more drums in it and sounds a little better. EZD can sound a bit plastic-y most of the time. Especially the kick drum.

Thanks for the info. Can you sequence the drums in DFH, or is it just a drum module?

you can sequence them .....dfh is just a vst plugin with a great library of drum samples....with some great features ,, such as randomizing kick samples etc etc
