Was just wondering if anyones ever figured out how to play that song
Certainly a favourite of mine would be cool if someone has figured it out

Actually, I believe the original was recorded after the band (Cop Shoot Cop) got a guitarist. It's surprisingly similar, apart from some lyrical changes.
Someone on the SYL board posted an acoustic version and I got the tabs from him... I dunno if I still have it though.

Turns out I still have the PM-- This tab (and the acoustic version itself) is by a fellow called Namaste on the SYL boards. All credit goes to him, kay?

 Here's the PM:
Heyo.
It was played in drop c tuning (CGCFAD).
(Intro)
--0--0--

--4--6--
--6--7--
--2--4--

(Riff One)

(Verse Riff)

--0--0--0--0--0----0--0--
--2--6--4--1--6----6--6--
--4--7--6--2--7----6--6--
--0--0--0--0--4----4--4--
--0--0--0--0--4----4--4-->Slide down
(Chorus)
--0--0--0--0--0--0--
--0--5--0--0--0--0--
--7--6--6--2--7--6--
--7--6--7--4--7--6--

--9--7--5--4--2
--9--7--x--x--x
(Finishing Chord)

Those are all the basic chord structures. If it sounds like I'm doing anything inside the chords, it's almost always just sliding the d string up and down within the scale and within the chord. The little movements on the d were all improvised once i got on stage. Once you get a feeling for the chords, you can improvise whatever you like and it sounds nice.
If you have any further questions, give me a shout back.
Cheers.
