L.A question.

I've poked around trying to figure this track from assordid one out but i just cant seem to get it even in open-C it sounds like i'm off. Anybody have a tab or some pointers?

Sorry yeah i think its "L.A" i think its track 4 on the assordid cd its acoustic with wierd japanese propaganda samples at the end.

Oh, sorry, I'm stupid. Errr, so yeah, if you get hold of the bootleg video (on VHS or DVD), there's Devin doing one man acoustic show in Vancouver (so entertaining, I love the raincoat song :lol: "stupid song, stupid song"; and that "SHUT UP!" during Sister is a classic), he's playing LA too, he's constantly retuning in between songs, but I guess if you really want to figure it out, you could follow his fingers and the sounds and figure out the tuning. I haven't seen the video since I tabbed Noisy Pink but if he doesn't change guitars in between songs then the answer is he's in his open C tuning.

Thats pretty fair! Coming at it from a standard tuning that sounds correct. Thanks, from there i can see what i was missing in open-C.
