I tuned to this out of curiosity, wondering what open C would sound like a step up. I know it stretches fuck out of one or two of the strings but I am using 9's and it sounds really nice. I didnt want the regular E tuning, and drop D was to similar to standard E. I'm having trouble getting used to it though. The notes are in funny places. Anyone got any tips e.g. practising, chord shapes, scales, anything...

look up any & all open tuning scales threads. There are a ton of them, this is merely a step up, no different.
