the basic layout is done, i just need to finish the strings and add some other effects, and refine the bass because it sounds a bit AWFUL. for the ticking sound you hear every four bars in the real version of the song i was just going to use the original, but it sounded bad mixed with it, luckily i found something which sounds exactly like it.

I had nothing else to do this weekend so I worked on this a lot more, I think I've made great progress, just some more things to add, one or two more layers of strings, some tweaking, and of course; the vocals.

What part of the song is that? I don't recognize the melody, and you're certainly not in the same key as Devin's version...

Of course i'm not in the right key, i know very little (nothing) about music, so there's probably a few things wrong with it. Hopefully it will be cleared up before it's finished. That part is supposed to be around 6:00-7:00

it's all good anyway, a cover is meant to be different from the original else it's a copy .
