I'm sure I've seen a picture of him with a Schecter 7-String too.

The finish looks like the "fireglo" colour that you often get on Rickenbackers. The pearloid scratchplate seems to go with it too, bizarrely!
I think that finish is called Sierra Sunburst...?
Regardless, it's a Fender American Fat Strat, if you look em up on eBay you can usually find some.
Ah ha! Thanks for the info...

I think most of Terria was recorded on a strat... he's got one on the last page of the liner notes, anyway. Beyond that? Not really sure... don't have all the albums yet. But I'm like... 85% positive that Terria was done on one of his strats.
I absolutely love his Strat sound the best, altough the more music he makes with his 7-string the better it sounds.
He probably went for the ESP 7-strings because he gets them for free..
I just could never figure out why he'd choose a LTD version instead of the original ESP ones.
I like the fact that he uses a Gibson SG on some songs these days, like Vampira. I'm a big SG fan, because I'm one of the lucky people to have found one which sounds just awesome.

Do you mean the SC607Bs that he used to use? I dunno, but I've never seen anyone play the ESP version of that guitar. Outside of Mr. Carpenter, of course.
I've tried both the LTD and ESP version of the Steve Carpenter guitar on a Dual Rectifier, at the American Guitar Centre, here in my country.
I must say that the difference is small, but the ESP version is still a little better. It plays more smoothly and has a little bit more body in the sound.
