Sorry to ask, but does anyone have tabs for the Away/Deep Peace medley Devin has been playing live lately?

I've taken up a unit of music at school this year called 'special performance study' and I have to play a 10-15 minute piece of music for it. I intend to play the Away/Deep Peace medley with a few other of Devin's great guitar moments thrown is aswell... like Deadhead, Truth.. etc..

I can already play most of Away but the only tab I have found of Deep Peace is transcribed for the lead guitar to be played in standard tuning, and I would much rather play it in Dev's tuning.

I'm mostly looking for a tab to the solo in Away.. even a rough idea of what he's doing there. It would be so cool to play that live... with all the tapping and stuff.

he's tabbed out lots of Dev's stuff before so he might be able to help out

Strumming A ist the way to go! Besides that, Mordecai, it would take you about 15 minutes to transcribe the Deep Peace solo tab from standard tuning to Devin's CGCGCE. Something called "special performance study" should be worth the effort.

There's a tab for Away, and there's a tab for Deep Peace (including the solo), but no medley...sorry but there is NO POSSIBLE WAY YOU WILL EVER BE ABLE TO COMBINE THE TWO.

P.S., the tabs are both on the forum somewhere, just search.

Maybe the DVD would help, it probably has some close-ups?

i've been playing the deep peace solo in cgcgce lately (well trying), it's actually not that hard to figure out once you have the standard tuning version.

The Billy again...did the best version of the deep peace solo tabbed out. I still have it & will post it if he doesn't in the next day or so.
