Hello all...I am desperate for an answer to this question.

I use Pro Tools, and I need to program drums. I have thousands of great sounding samples, but how can I get it so that I can program MIDI to play those samples, into a real drum beat?

You have to open the MIDI matrix editor which is like a pianoroll looking thing and click hits in until they make a beat. I would like to give you more specific advice but I use Logic Audio and am not familiar with the layout of Pro Tools at all.
