Definitely a shock to us all when Dio died, and as we celebrate his life, these morons decide they want to show up at his public memorial.

Pay especial attention to the fact that he changed his original sir name from Padanova to Dio, which means "God" in Italian. 3)Ronnie the simpleton enabled, and encouraged Sorceries: everything he was about including the little finger horn thing (he got this from his mother which is an incantation to ward off the "evil eye") to the drugs, bloody raw meat and his fellowship with those pentagram necklace wearing freakish band members. Yes, Ronnie James Padanova (NOT DIO) is currently residing in hell. When all those who worship him and his false gods meet him in hell it will be just like this: Isaiah 2:12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low: Isaiah 14:11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. If there was a Christ, and if there is a Supreme Being, then I feel absolutely certain they would not endorse this sort of mean-spirited shit.

Have just reread this, and am struck by two questions:

1.) Do Heaven and Hell actually throw raw meat at their audience?

2.) What exactly is the connection between raw meat and Satan? Am I committing mortal sin every time I eat steak tartare? 'Cause, y'know, if that's the case I'll have to start eating more. Where exactly in the Bible does it say Thou shalt not toss raw meat about? Is it just bloody raw meat? If I leave the rawmeat to drain awhile and dry it off with paper towels is that no longer sinful?

They must be stereotyping all metal musicians because of the actions of Mayhem and Deicide or something. I know Mayhem has done it, and Deicide used to use pig's blood. Maybe Gorgoroth did something similar too?

But what is un-Biblical about handling raw meat? There are references to not eating raw meat but generally in order to get cooked meat you have to interact with raw meat.

No, the Westboro Baptist church believe that anyone that isn't a member of their specific church (which is mostly just members of Fred Phelp's family if I recall correctly), is going to hell, and they have no interest in converting people. At least that's my understanding.

For those who aren't familiar with these people, they are the lovely folk who "protest" at funerals for US military personnel with signs declaring that God hates them all. Their website is godhatesamerica.com! Their leader, Fred Phelps, celebrated the Victorian bushfires in Australia that killed hundreds of people. He decribed those who died as "filthy Australian beasts" that God sent "straight to hell".

Idiotic, attention-seeking shitbags. Fuck their mindless, pathetic little hatred, and RIP Dio... by all accounts a far finer man than any of these people could hope to be.
