Who thinks its a good idea to make a "HEY DEV - QUESTION" thread or something in the Devin Townsend subforum to give a place for all the questions and ball-sucking eweegooee loveyoumanyouchangedmylifeman to go so it makes the whole thing a little easier to keep up with and read? I fucking hate dumb, needless clutter. I think it's best to sweep the crap to the side so more important main things are easier to deal with. I was thinking about it for a while, thought it might work out for the best but wasn't fully sure, but recently I think it's a good and necessary idea... The questions are gonna keep rollin' in regardless and it's a bit of a marmite thing with people, really.

I'm sure some people love them, I'm sure some people think they're an annoying load of bollocks and I'm sure plenty people don't give a shit but they blur the argument so they can fuck off. So it's probably for the best they get their own little place to go so as not to be spouting arguments and jamming up the whole thing.

That's not a word, or even a sound. How would one even refer to this band?

As for the pun appreciation, thanks. It's nice to finally have found a place where I can unleash the crazy related to all things Townsend. :D

Ah, better yet, French metal band '????'

So, I had to stop and post. Just because...

What the fuck is this supposed to say?

Unrelated: I'm one of the people who doesn't give a shit--but I am often a bit peeved--when people ask trivial and obnoxious questions. I say let them ask, give them a place for it. But I doubt they'd use it. They'd just make a new topic in the hopes that when their idol swoops down from his throne of awesomeness, he'll be more likely to spot their irritating/fancy-pleasing bullshit.

I already answered this before but I'll say it again, you've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense.

Single most appropriate post for the "Random" thread.

And, Zyprexa, I don't care what Leechy says, you're aces! :)

>cough<....ssooooooo....anyway, I just noticed that the drummer in Mastodon only has one base drum in his kit.
Doesn't sound like it...... so...carry on... :) 8)(said in the voice of 'Stewie' from Family Guy)

1 kick drum + 2 beaters + 2 pedals = double bass drumming ;)

I once asked RVP why he uses 1 kick drum and not 2 and he said that sound-wise, it doesn't make much difference, but it saves the pain of having to tune 2 kicks and trying to get them to sound the same, which can be quite a tedious job.

i think the only reason why youd bother with 2 bass drums is to make your kit look more badass

My friend has two, and tunes them to different notes - He has his kit tuned to a C major arpeggio. He's working on getting tuned cymbals. o-o
