Is it really that good?
I've heard two tracks - 99 and some other one off a Century Media sampler - and to me it's not a patch on their previous stuff... it sounds quite underproduced to me, but then that might be my stereo.

Ocean Machine
well what to say that's not reciting the texts of hundreds? My own opinions: the start sounded a bit weaker than I expected, at the first listen, but from 3 A.M. forward it was all-blown-goddam amazing. Then on the third listen I realized that even the start was better than just ok, it was good indeed.

"Amazing emotions need no amazing words."
"Rock is rollin', but baby, metal is metal!"
"The World is so full of shit... but ahh, there's always music."

Ordered it and got the limited edition..signed by all members, sweet!Thrash at its best
So have you got it yet?
Tell us what its like when ya get it, i live the haunteds stuff so far.
Yeah I got it this wednesday. I´ve only listened closely to the first half of the album so far, lack of time for music this week. But if you like their previous stuff you´ll like this one for sure I think, no drastic change in their sound. Exception beeing the "new" singer of course.
Dolving is doing a helluva job behind the mic, that man can do anything from clean to haunting to ripyerheartout screams. Production is really good, guitars are ripping, drumming a la Lombardo...
If you like the old Haunted, I say buy it emediately.

I think the production is very well done actually, at least it ripps my speakers apart. But maybe you don´t like the "clean" sound, so to speak?

Did you get the original version of Blizzard of Ozz? A few years ago Ozzy removed the original drums and bass and replaced them with Mike Bordin and Robert Trujillo. I've not heard what it sounds like, but that would be like taking Ringo and Paul off the White Album.
I am Matthew Hopkins, Witchfinder.

well I don't know how "clean" the production is, just that it sounds different to the raw gritty sound on the debut and the slightly razor like production on 'One Kill Wonder'
I'm not writing it off believe me, it's probably just the shit stereo I listened to it on, it's just it didn't sound as amazing as everyone says.
It does sound good on the sound sample thing when you go on CM's site though.

Don't be put off by the different sound of Engines Of Creation. It got slated a bit, but I think its still a really good CD. Actually I think its bloody good.

No, I have the butchered version. I doubt any "new" copies of the original exist at standard CD stores. If I ever get inspired, maybe I'll hunt it down.

Don't worry, I've had it for 4 years already
