Lol.

So sad, that you still think Bush was the cause of all problems, so misinformed!

Well either way, I honestly do hope (and I mean REALLY hope) that Obama does something different. Because his speech today, pretty much reflected on how we need to continue so many things that we already do. Though he did mention that we need to do somethings differently, which I agree with.

Again, not to start an argument...I really hope things change for the better, or else Obama will be under extreme scrutiny for such false promises.

Obama is such a fluent and confident speaker...its nice to know that he's finally officially in the office. He does have a lot of work to do, and I'm excited to see what happens next. He has promised a lot, but he knows what is at stake here. I seriously doubt that he could do much worse than what we had immediately before. You know, that guy that helped the US develop a $7 trillion debt, put the US in a country we had no business being in, and passed the ridiculous "No Child Left Behind" and "USA Patriot" Acts? Yeah, him.

So nice of you to leave Congress completely out of that. You know, that Democrat dominated Congress of the past 2 years that helped spiral us into an even worse debt. Yeah, THAT Congress.

It's always nice to see Bush haters completely leave out the obvious. If you knew anything about the way our country was ran, you would know Congress typically plays a bigger role in our country's budget.

You clearly missed the point of my post. See, in America, our "leader" doesnt have all the power everyone thinks he does.

Son of a bitch....

Just kiddin around obviously, but I do hope that Obama can really unite the country. He seems like a natural leader.

And AlucardXIX, your absolutely right aboot congress. Not only have they dropped the ball in the last two years, but they

fumbled it right out of their own end-zone.

I didn't say that I thought Bush was the cause of all problems :? I just said I'm glad he's gone. Aren't you?! And I'm not misinformed either - where are you getting that?

None of this even matters anyways - Bush and the possee are gone. Obama is the new president - let that be good news in itself.

I dont care if he's gone or not. Obama has A LOT to live up to. His speech today had over tones of continuing things we already have, while just trying to unify the people of this country. He has said so many things over his campaign, yet now he comes out and mentions so much about our forefathers(I have no problem following the things they set forth though).

My point in everything if Obama has so much to live up to, that I dont think he will. I think this country wont have any significant changes made to it in the next 4 years.

Either that or we plunge into socialism...which would be a massive change.

And Nathan is right. Obama does seem more like a celebrity than the most powerful man in the world.
