This was the last time DTB played in Vancouver and my wife and I were right up front all evening. The 'Beav' was sick that night and although he tried, could only play two songs. The rest of the show it was Mike and Dev for guitar and they smoked!!!Still the best night of music I've ever experienced. Oh, yeah, Evenlight opened :D :D

Oh man, you RULE! Thanks for posting that, kinda made my night.

Dev looks serious business in that clip!! I totally envy you for getting to see him live, I have not had that pleasure yet.

I'm glad y'all got abit of a contact high off the clip. 8) :)
I believe he was playing Tiny Tears at that moment. Since Dev was on his own as lead/rythem guitar, he did alot of 'soloing' that night which ,as we all know is rare. The 'mosh' was churning and suddenly ,Dev goes into 'Away' and everyone start's 'floating' and waving....Total musical contact high.Dev was in total control the whole night even in his 'Sears Robuck' shirt and pants.

Haha!! Dude shops at Sears? Awesome.
Yeah until I get to see him for myself, I hope you don't mind that I'll be living vicariously through you all for a while! But that show sounds pretty hard to beat, Deth Warmdover. Once in a lifetime for sure.

Just noticed Sylvain Coudret off Scarve is in Soilwork nao, I guess it could mean some positive changes in their songwriting. But I still want Scarve :(

I truely hope that Dev will perform again. He has gained so many new fans even just in this last few years. I'm a nuebi fan too really, just lucky to be in Vancouver and got onboard when I did. Some of these guys and gals have been fans since the beginnig. He is, by far, a most unique and engaging talent!!!The last time we had a chance to see him was at the Beyond Hell GWAR concert acouple years ago. I was all like Linus waiting for the great pumpkin, but no one else seemed to think he'd show. But he showed and gave GWAR a ten tonne crack boulder!!!Good times..... :guitar:

Thanks Steph, and everyone else!

I'm just making a compilation CD for the METAL party I am about to have. Hopefully I can sneak some SYL and Devy on.

Oh, and I have a keg...not of mango juice, but of beer.

And happy Birthday to you too Alucard...excellent choice of birthing day!
