sometimes one cannot afford to pay for an education and sometimes one ends up owing the university a shitload of money so one has to either get a job or rot like a lazy bum.

so now im halfway of becoming an engineer but instead at least i have a steady job (and now im a boss :D)

there i said it!

I was about to toss an old cell phone. Checked out the media files and found this clip of Devy. This was the last time DTB played in Vancouver and my wife and I were right up front all evening. The 'Beav' was sick that night and although he tried, could only play two songs. The rest of the show it was Mike and Dev for guitar and they smoked!!!Still the best night of music I've ever experienced. Oh, yeah, Evenlight opened :D :D

Oh man yes, let's. I doubt that we will for a while too

But I bet he'll be back in the saddle - he'll get the itch to be awesome again, and he'll be touring in no time. Maybe that's a bit too optimistic, but that's all I've got!
At least Dev isn't pulling this shit:
http://www.smh.com.au/news/entertainment/people/cold-play-star-to-retire/2008/11/19/1226770505457.html
^^
"Chris Martin is planning to retire next year.
The Coldplay frontman doesn't want to become an ageing rock star and is keen to quit music before he feels too old.
He said: "I'm 31 now and I don't think bands should keep going past 33."

On a different note, there's still lots of Dev that I need to hear in the mean time. I only just bought Infinity the other day  And there are still lots of his CD's that I don't yet have.

Everytime I get a new CD, it's like Mr. Townsend's Wild Ride (on speed)

:)

I doubt it too. But it's the dudes personal choice, so I'll be patient. :D
That's a little weird of Coldplay. But they've gone awful now anyway. I enjoyed some of there older stuff.

I don't think there is an age limit to making music, personally.

Unless of course, there is a difference to being in a rock band and making music.

Exactly

I just think that's really wanker thing to say - kind of implies his success and ability to rock is based on his age and image. Lame.

That article reads "Chris Martin is a prick and is more concerned about his image than making music," but I had gathered that about Cold Play a long, long time ago. It might be better for music, in general, if he fucks off. :D

(Just an opinion.)

Dev, on the other hand, should never quit making music (and somehow I get the feeling he won't). 8)

Haha yeah exactly.

Dev's beauty will never soil with age!
He MUST keep making music. *be patient be patient, Catlin*

For serious though, good riddence to Colplay (no offence to anyone who's a fan, just my opinion) I could care less if they "retire." More room for Devin. :D

Haaha, you guys are all ont he same level its brilliant xD

And yeah I don't care much for Coldplay anymore. There was like, 2 songs from there first album I think, that I liked.

I'm glad my music tastes have developed since then :P

Well, I wouldn't say that. He is human, after all. Mostly.

But I bet his music will still be awesome!
