Negative. Dancers to a Discordant System is one of the best songs Meshuggah have ever written. Bleed is just the most memorable track off the album because it has such an old school Meshuggah vibe, it reminds people of Chaosphere. Have you heard the whole new album?

i have listened to it in all its painful entirety, i wouldnt emit an opinion otherwise. my whining about meshuggah is not just a childish rant, i just cannot comprehend how such talented musicians cannot come up, or reinvent themselves into something less, well.. dull.

They did it back on Nothing and I. True they do need to do something new at this point in time...but we will have to see in the future.

Ahhh, very lucky you are. You will probably never see another band with a more clear and defined live sound. You might, but PT really had the best i've ever heard in my opinion.

Can't agree more. They really do put every other band to shame when it comes to sounding good on stage. Of course, perhaps they are a little too good.

Though thats just silly.

PT = mangooze.

Lucky! They've never been to Calgary before as far as i know. But I've been a fan for a long time.

I just hope they dont play much of their newer material.

I understand. :lol:
I don't like any of their albums after 6DOIT. Train of Thought is OK. I think the last time I saw them was during that tour. I went because Fates Warning and Queensryche were on the same bill. Even still, Dream Theater was much better than Queensryche. I can't stand them without Chris DeGarmo.

Worse yet, DeGarmo was supposed to play that night (according to Ticketmaster), but he never turned up. He was also a no-show at the Seattle concert.

That was a bitter disappointment for me. :(
