It is indeed! I cycled home from work today, along the canal. I was almost thrown off my bike by the wind. It SUCKED. Well, then it blew. A bit of both really.

I was due to travel to Aberdeen tonight and then sail (as in, on a boat) down into the Forth tomorrow night, but thank FUNK I am not doing that. I would die!

Think I will dig a hole and hide in it, till the nice weather comes.

70mph wind? That's insane!

That's relatively common here. And the latest weather update is for slightly higher speeds. Damnit. But we might get lucky and miss it.
