He was awesome. His singing was alright, too.

The movie itself is quite twisted. Best I've seen in a looooooong time. I'd give it a 10 personally. Great acting, great music (the orchestra isn't loud enough at times, but that's a minor quibble), had a well-executed & tragic story, and it was absolutely hilarious at that.

Black & white boring!? I know a ton of class old movies that could never be called boring. Try some Laurel & Hardy or Buster Keaton for a wee smile even.
