I got more CDs off a trade and the guy's response was "If you're complaining about my discs, yours must be in mint condition" when I told him that one was scratched enough to skip. But anywho...
Lotus Eaters A Tribute to Dead Can Dance
(I'm not big on DCD but I figured with this lineup, the thing couldn't go wrong. Well, it did. A single disc might work but as is, there's just too much filler that sounds precisely like the previous tracks)
Chroma Key- You Go Now
(This kind of stuff is the reason I listen when Greg Massi suggests listening. I never expected to enjoy anything related to Dream Theater but this is really fantastic stuff.)

(This is an odd one. It's pretty close to standard doom-death but has some oddball elements thrown in. Not sure if I like it yet.)

(The most noteworthy thing about this disc was the horribly written promotional material. WTG is an 'earwig melody?')
Epica-The Phantom Agony
(When a guy leaves an established act like After Forever then basically plays in the style of said act only slightly heavier... how am I supposed to give a shit?)

Rollins Band-Weight
(Loved it when I was 15 and am stilll big on it for whatever reason)
Bruce Dickinson-Balls to Picasso
(This one's important to me because I went against the grain of my metal brothers, shut up, and just enjoyed it when it first came out. That sort of listening approach is why I've discovered so many great bands in recent years...)
The trades have gone well so there's lots more. Of course, I also sold off about 30 discs in the last two weeks so my collections a good deal smaller.
