One thing I've always wondered though: WHY do men take such long time pooping? Perhaps that's just my male friends and family members, but they really do. My only theory so far is that just because women have to sit regardless of what they have to do on the loo, they have become more efficient at toilet using that involves sitting overall.

I was about to say something about that, because that just adds to the mystery really. Why do men read on the toilet? Is that why they take so long, or is it because they already take so much time pooping in the first place? I'm leaning towards the latter, because friends of mine spend ages of pooping even when they don't read anything, but reading prolongs it. o_O Curious...

I always thought it was more to do with our prostate, being closer to our rectums than a woman's, therefore narrowing the gap. I could be wrong.

I take long poops sometimes, mainly because I feel about done, when suddenly my body says "Surprise! There's more!" Then I end up waiting until I'm sure it's over.
