SYL - No Sleep 'Till Bedtime
Dimmu Borgir - Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia
Iced Earth - Days of Purgatory

BTW, I love that IE album title; it's a delicious tripple pun.

On a more angry note, those three cd's cost 45 fucking dollars (US). It's incredible how quickly stuff adds up at Hastings (the music/movies/computer software/books store here); I've spent over $100 on too many occasions. I go in and pick up a movie or two and some cds and i get to the cash register and there's the total; HOLY SHIT!!!!!1 I think, but i'm not about to say anything like "ohhh, i don't really wanna spend too much money...lemme put something back" cause then i'll look foolish (also i'm buying crap that i want). Oh well though, at least i'm not paying the bands to make music videos and album covers with a ton of expensive junk on them to make me jeleous. Just ignore me, i don't really know what i'm saying anymore.

one where I persevere against all the odds to lose weight by sticking to a calorie-controlled diet, where i basically just take into account......... ah fuck it... im basically just doing the Weight Watchers thing of a daily points allowance, and you work out the points in various things before deciding whether to have them or not....

i seem to have hit a plateau atm actually now that i only have a stone and a half to go

I had eating disorders some 6 years ago, I lost 30 kilos in a short period of time. That worked pretty fine. I don't recommend it though.

erm. you want to try buying CD's on the British high street.

if you want any metal CD other than The Darkness, Ash or god knows how many other corporate-whores, you have to pay in excess of £15... if they have the album.
I had to pay £17 for the God Dethroned album today for fuck all reason.
Plus the amount of times I've gone into all my local shops looking for any solo Dev, Limbonic Art, Myrkskog, Thou Shalt Suffer, 1349, Napalm Death..... the list is endless.

A lot of respite comes from the Earache/ CM webstores, but all the Metal Blade/ Candlelight albums i want, i have to pay a small fortune for - mainly because of Plastic Head who blatantly hoard their licensing rights and wont sell me anything - on the high street.
I can't even order them from the labels own website as i very much don't trust the whole thing of making first-time customers fax a picture of their card to the webstore before placing an order.
