Bloodstock. ^^

I only went for the day Dev played, but I listened to a couple of the other bands as well. Didn't get there 'til kind of late in the day, but I caught Ed Guy (who were crazy fun), Obituary (Who I got bored of), Amorphis (Who I really quite liked), Dev (Which was amazing, I'll add a little story), Fear Factory (Who sounded fucking HUGE), and I caught a little bit of Bodom's stuff, and that was pretty crazy.

Dev had SO many technical issues, and half their gear went missing at the airport and didn't show up until halfway through the set. He made sad faces and wee said aw, but then he absolutely rocked the set. Had a huge load of people rush to the front when he was coming on, and it was amazing. Amber, Lettuce, Charlie and I went trhough the signing tent twice just so we coul dhave a few extra words with him ('cause we got rushed through it becuase there was a MASSIVE queue) and then Lettuce managed to get RVP to come out and we had a cup of tea with him. HOORAY.

And God bless England for being the only place you could get tea at a metal festival.

The fact that I saw this.
Absolutely mindblowing...No words come close to describing how amazing it actually was.

Opeth playing "Catch the Rainbow" (Rainbow- in memory of Ronnie James Dio) at Bloodstock 2010.
For some stupid reason it wont let me embed it.

Speaking of which, I just got an email from this guy I met at the weekend, just told me he liked the gore makeup I did for the VIP show last night, and he'll let me know when he wants to abuse my fruits of labour. His name was something like....Mikael Akerfluff? Fuzzifelt?

Last time I saw that guy he swore he was 'just a bum' - he's moving up in the world!

He was a bum in gore makeup yesterday! I just did even better gore makeup and happened to impress him/carry around business cards.

I impressed with my entirely professional approach 8)
