Mike from Oceansize wrote:Regarding the Special Edition:

What you'll get is an extra track ('Cloak' - aka Tough Cookie) , a 40-odd page booklet featuring lyrics and some fancy artwork, all lovingly packaged in a fancy book. Fancy.

The 'other' version is neither special nor fancy, and doesn't feature any of the stuff above. The record company, however, insist on a jewel case specifically targeted at people who can't afford the extra quid and don't like things that are special or fancy, i presume.

Hmmm sounds yummie. It's that sort of thing that makes a record worth buying.

Opeth to Release 'In Live Concert at the Royal Albert Hall' DVD This September

"The performance at the Royal Albert Hall (recorded on the 5th of April, 2010) includes two sets, the first consisting of the band performing 2000’s now-classic, breakthrough epic, Blackwater Park in its entirety, and the second, a chronologically arranged selection of material from the rest of Opeth’s extensive catalogue, totaling almost three hours of music. "

I came everywhere.

I'm not big on guitar hero or rockband, but if I get to squeal along to 2112, I'll buy the damn thing. So, uh, I guess I'm buying it.

EDIT:

Abydost- That should be fuckin killer. I'm not the hugest Opeth fan, but I do enjoy me some Blackwater Park and Still Life, and they're always pretty damn good live, so I think I might pick that one up.

Antichrist (Lars Von Trier) released on DVD uncensored - was putting off viewing it because I wasn't sure, but I'm glad I finally got around to it.
Such a beautiful film!
