Paganini's 24th capriccio on classical guitar played by a 14 y.o. Chinese girl. My jaws dropped. I have the 24 capricci sheet score and I know every note she's playing ... this is beyond amazing.

There are more than one billion Chinese people on this world, damn right a bunch of them are very talented at things. And as far as I can tell, the Chinese are really good at exploiting those talents.

oh, we're all crying.

he lost my vote when he said no more rock 'n' roll. (emotional blackmail)

It's a natural balance that effects organisations who want to control what people can and can't listen to. A distributor who cherry picks all the best stuff (easily and cheaply hyped) for their own exclusive profit will have the biggest problem with piracy.

I think piracy will always be a byproduct of artificially inflating the popularity of an artists work. People who care will buy regardless of hype and the people who feel an unexplained need to do what the flock is doing will listen to music because that's what they think they should be doing, no other consequences are considered.

In my honest opinion, I'd be glad when a few of the big distributors go tits up, and I can use (pay for) a much more efficient method of distribution that hopefully rewards the artist with a little more of that tear jerking inspiration that Jack Black is whining on about, god knows most of them need it.

WTF? You aren't too familiar with something called irony, right? I mean, come on - as if a statement full of sentences like "...and steal all our internets" or "No cash - no inspiration" should be taken seriously. Just listen to the music in the background. I spell this clip p a r o d y

It's part of the Pick Of Destiny-promotion, btw.
