I got some pictures back from a shoot today. I'm so happy, I felt like the shoot had gone horribly, but the images are awesome! :D

Working on my first short with no school resources and no one else attached to it.

It's probably going to be rough, as I'm using a crappy Kodak pocket cam but I'm excited to just start doing material, since I know the more videos I get under my belt, the better they'll become.

I just had a phonecall from Swervedriver in Eindhoven and heard Dev play a bit of the solo (at 4:48 on the CD track) of Deep Peace. <3

I'll never shut up about how awesome that was, ever.

:D

...Until I see DTP at Bloodstock. Then maybe I'll be quiet.

And when I came home, i found new tools for my guitar on my table. My dad had left them there for me (he doesn't usually do nice stuff like that) :)

Was it an angle-grinder, circular saw and sledgehammer?

I are back from Hove. I'll try to keep a semi-short post, or I'll just ramble on in eternity on the awesomeness of everything.
My favourite concerts were Pendulum, Massive Attack, Karpe Diem (Norwegian hiphop group), Empire of the Sun and Muse.

I can't really describe with words how fantastic Pendulum were. It was their first time in Norway and we gave them everything, they played a mix of old and new, it was a very unpredictable setlist really. The vocalist, bassist and I exchanged faces and fingers, loads of fun. And the vocalist jumped vertically like 3 meters, wtf. Massive Attack were one of the headliners and I can't use any other word than "majestic" to describe how they were on stage, I'll definitely try to see them live more in the future. Empire of the Sun was like an acid trip, they had 4 dancers who changed costume for every song, a background movie and just overall an amazing live atmosphere. Muse were also one of the headliners, I haven't really heard anything apart from the radio hit songs, but I was surprised when they came on stage and the music was heavy as hell! Matt Bellamy's guitarplaying impressed me, and he had one of those fun touchpad pickup things on his guitar that makes funny sounds.
