Every time there is a big tournaments the goalies and players are complaining about the ball. Always complaining that the ball is too light (it only has to conform to FIFA standardization, specifying a minimum weight).
Now they're also claiming that the "evil curving ball" phenomenon is not actually because of the ball, but because of the thin air at the great heights they're playing at.
But what I heard today, is that the Dutch team only got to practice with the new ball for 2 weeks because of "sponsor regulations" (they're clothed by Nike, not Adidas who make the ball). Nonsense.
