Perfect.

Lovely!

Like a dying elephant.

The Portsmouth Sinfonia: http://www.portsmouthsinfonia.com/

An orchestra made entirely of non-musicians, and a wonderful, wonderful thing!

So, you know when old people tell you that your music is just fucking noise? Sometimes they're right. That was absolutely bizarre.

Not that it was bad...

All music is just changes in air pressure.

Indeed. But we give meaning to the frequencies of vibrations and the magnitudes of compression waves which convey them.

I think you get my point, in any case.

I read the book twice in high school. It was a great escape from all the 10th graders who called me "satan" in the halls every day. (I had hair down to my ass and wore Deicide shirts)

I decided it would be fun once to read both It and The Stand (uncut version) back to back. Took me a week to finish them both, but it was worth it. Ah the teenage days when I had time to read (more).

Know what you mean - My wife read It as a kid and loved it and therefore insisted I read it. Took me a month, and that was pushing it! Worth it though, it was good fun.

LOL. Yeah, you must have had ZERO life, cuz both books are huge. But yes, I too sometimes wish I could transport back to those days. I started a Pink Floyd biography over the summer and got about 50 pages into it...then my math book took over.
