Agreed, he's great

How is White Cluster live? I love that song, it's like one giant drum roll with loads of crrrrrrrazy solos!

those of you in Oz yet to see them will very likely encounter a different set. Mikael said they'd change it for tomorrow night's show, for instance.

I will be glad to see a different setlist. Of all the wonderful material on GR, why do they have to play "The Grand Conjuration"? Easily the worst song on the record.

And "Weeping Moon"? If the Heavens sided with me I would see this:

Ghost of Perdition
When
The Baying of the Hounds
White Cluster
Dirge for November
Weakness
Harlequin Forest
By the Pain I See in Others
Face of Melinda

fuckin yeah!

Well GR, I hope you get your wish. They seemed in quite a playful mood so who knows what they'll play in Brisbane?

And Biert, White Cluster was immense. Axenrot pulled it off really well. I'd hazard to say that if things don't work out long-term with Lopez, then Martin A would be a more than adequate replacement. He hardly raised a sweat.

Oh my goodness, Opeth pulled out Moonlapse Vertigo at the second Melbourne show......... God I hope we get that one. My favourite track off my favourite Opeth album  I just didn't think they ever did it!

Ever had a song stuck it your head?
I had.

Ever had 5 songs by 3 different artists stuck in your head?
I had. And it drove me mad.

Ever had an entire album stuck in your head?
Physicist tends to do that to me.

5 songs by 3 different artists? How does that even work?

Well it went from one riff into the other solo into another chorus or something...
And the worst part was, it wasn't the quiet bands either. I think it featured SYL - We Ride, Nile - Cast Down The Heretic and Chimaira - Powertrip, amongst others

Whoa, I think that acually has happened to me once. I used to have a real problem with getting songs stuck in my head awhile back, but now I just shove my headphones on and everything is better.

CLosure was possibly the coolest thing I've EVER seen live.....

In fact this year has been awesome for gigs (for an Australian). I've seen three of probably the top 10 gigs I've ever seen.

The Mars Volta (HOLY MOTHER I DIDNT EXPECT WHAT I WITNESSED)

Sigur Ros (utterly astounding beauty, came off a lot more 'rock' than I expected too)

Opeth (well uh....its Opeth, what do you expect)

Now I only must see Meshuggah, Radiohead and DTB and I think my life would be fairly complete.
