Well, I only heard the "promo" or whatever that leaked thing was and the songs were cut short. So this one has the full songs now. But I really liked the promo songs. I also don't know the original Stormblast and usually prefer good sound quality. Well, so at the end of the day it's different licks for different chicks, as always :)

I just got that, too. It's kinda boring, I think. I've only listened to it twice but I was pretty non-plussed. I wish Dream Theater was more interesting. With all of that musical talent, you'd think they could do a bit more. I don't know.

I share that sentiment. Totally overrated.

Ulver - Themes from William Blake's The Marriage of Heaven and Hell

Ordered these (finally):

Dargaard - Rise and Fall (Limited)
Dargaard - Dissolution of Eternity
Mr Bungle - California

It's a shame the store didn't have In Nomine Aeternitatis by Dargaard

I didn't like it either. I played it once and lost interest halfway thru. Not sure I've even heard the last track.

They seem to be stuck in a rut. :? They've ditched mood and atmosphere for showmanship. Why can't there be both? Whatever they had during I&W and Awake is disappearing. Might have left with Moore, even though SFAM was great. I ramble.

I love the new album, I think Train Of Thought is one of their best, so I surely don't think they're in a rut. They've evolved, they're much more prog-metal than before, and prog-metal is a lot harder to get into.

agreed too. DT have lost the plot. Octavarium was terrible and TOT was not bad, 6DOIT was the best album followed by Awake, and then everything else was rubbish. i didnt buy 8V and i wont be buying another DT i think.

although i did buy Opeth - Deliverance yesterday :D
Masters Apprentice is sooo good :D
