So this is what's going on in my house these days.

Thank goodness for the cuteness of animals. I find it helps me relax no matter what's going on. Yours are adorable. :)

I know this belongs elsewhere but it seemed like the right place for it, given how "random" the experience was.

So yesterday I received a gofundme donation of AUS$1000. :o

A family member that we sadly weren't very close to growing up. They live nearly 2000 km away and I've seen them maybe half a dozen times in my life.

I may have had some dust in my eyes for a few minutes when it happened.

Good to hear, dude. Just goes to show how powerful familial bonds can be.
Looks like you'll be getting that treatment sooner than you think.

It's looking that way, thanks to amazing people like your good self.

Random act of aussieness today: My son and I built a campfire and made damper. He licked off all the butter, honey and vegemite, and I feasted on butter coated, scone-like camp bread until I got heartburn.

Burp.

You're too kind.

I'm having one of those days where I feel like I have nothing to do, yet there are plenty of things at my reach.

I'll probably go for a stroll or something; whatever gets me away from the television.

I'm unsure of what procedure you need done, though I am probably just forgetting. Either way I hope it come more quickly than planned so that you can be better, sooner. :)

As for me, I'm officially moved out of the old apartment and residing in my old room at my parent's house. The wife is with her parents as well. It's a weird time for me, and I'll be doing even more pondering than I normally do with this time apart. Here's to hoping it works out right, whatever the outcome may be.

Faye, our buddy and I just spent almost a week at the Edinburgh Comedy Fringe Festival, staying with some lads we know performing all month. Because one of them's called Thad (he's Irish, pronounces it "Tad") along with Amber we decided it'd be funny to wind him up and call him "Dad" in public (bar the fact he's only 4 years older than me, it's believable enough because he has a big beard and grey hair) except the bloke embraced this role with a passion as the patriarch over his four lovely daughters he raised as a single parent, our plan backfired when he set out to embarrass his girls in public. Dad style.

Here's one:

Sadly when I posted the link the guide had more and crazier vandalism now apparently lost forever, like people bleeding rainbows or explosions replaced by marshmallows. But you get the idea. :)

Sounds like Stallone and Crews got on like a house on fire.

A "prolonged homosexual" house on fire.

Yo Victoria! What about a quick reply box at the bottom of the threads? That'd be miiiiint.

So I have two friends who are musicians who are big fans of each other and I'm all "sick, you guys should hook up and do something" except they're both shy as fuck so I'm trying to convince one not to have a panic attack and email the other, then nag the other to not have a panic attack and reply to the previous one else the previous one will think he hates him and have a panic attack. Except they're both probably having a panic attack right now. It'll definitely be worth it for the pair of them but fucking Christ.

Great idea!! Quick reply is now available :D Please report any bugs or issues.

And the musician dilemma... hmmm... maybe the "least shy" one should provide/suggest something to work on??
