Just got back from a 3-day trip with my colleagues to Poland. Visited Warsaw, Krakow and Auschwitz. Polish history is much more diverse than I realized, and Russia have been complete douchebags to them. Also Auschwitz is insanely impressive in the sense that it is hard to believe what one human can do to another. Or to millions of others. It is truly unfathomable.

I wonder how many people will recognize me at work tomorrow, as I've shaven my head and most of my beard.

Let us know how it went. You look like a badass, so I'm tipping it will be a success.

My family were particularly speechless.

My girlfriend still hasn't seen me yet; that will be interesting.

I think people wouldn't recognize me if I actually HAD a beard, bookworm. So at least you've got options, haha.

Woke up this morning to some notifications on my phone, logged into Tumblr and had just over 1000 new notes for a post I did a few weeks ago (http://mrdishington.tumblr.com/post/706 ... red-by-the) that got no attention at the time. In December I got 100 notes over about 3 days on one post and was delighted, to get so many more in just one night has really made my day.

I know it's hardly viral or anything but I don't get much online attention so this is a nice novelty. I guess the Pok

So apparently Jesse Eisenberg has been cast as Lex Luthor in Batman vs Superman.

I didn't have much hope for this film as it was, but this casting makes Ben Affleck as Batman seem visionary. Maybe if Eisenberg was 10 years older I might not mind so much. And I know many people will point out the controversial casting of Heath Ledger as Joker for comparison, but that doesn't mean this decision will be a success. Besides, Zack Snyder is no Chris Nolan, despite his efforts.
