If people are concerned about their teeth being too large, why don't think just drink more coke?

I had this stupid revelation while drinking coke. My teeth are a disgrace.

Alright, so I need musical assistance. As a metal fan, I can take most any kind of vocals, but I have never been able to do black metal. It just gets irritating very quickly. But I'm finding myself craving right now something like Wolves in the Throne Room, sans the vocals. I don't mean no vocals necessarily (although that would be cool, love instrumental music) but just not those kind of vocals. Something that's kind of dark, dregy, etc, but still musical and not like... Devlab or Tribes of Neurot or something. I tried Opeth (whom I of course love), but not exactly fitting that mood.

Recommendations?

Listening to Planet of the Apes. Noticed something I hadn't noticed before: Star Wars laser cannon sounds around 7:42! :D

I had a real shit-licker of a customer today. One that if I was able to, I would have strangled him through the phone, so insufferable an asshole he was.

Then I realized something.

No achievement, no landmark, no impact he has ever made in his miserable life in any way, shape or form is as awesome as the Batman shirt I'm wearing right now. So there.

PS Sean, Blut Aus Nord's 777 trilogy (at least Cosmosohpy) might be up your alley.

Enslaved? A good mix of vocal styles there.

And I second Lars's recommendation of Negura Bunget.

Having an egg and lettuce sandwich with cranberry juice for lunch. Should be a few interesting hours after for those sitting next to me, I think.

One of the forumists had a kind of symphonic-proggy-black metal band, Black Lotus, you might try it, it's less harsh sounding than your usual black metalists but it's still kinda mad and fast paced:

Personally I think it's rather good stuff.
