Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

And a couple states passed gay marriage as well! Woo!

I didn't vote for Obama (voted third party) but I'm damn glad the guy won when considering the alternative. Was listening to conservative talk radio today on the drive home to keep myself awake (yelling at the radio will help with that) and my god... it's INCREDIBLE how stupid, vindictive, hateful, and plain delusional a group of people can be (meaning the hosts and their callers). It's mind boggling.

Oh, but this is more mind boggling. This is a post by a VERY conservative Catholic friend of mine after Obama was announced president: "Lord have mercy on us and on our nation. Catholics - prepare the catacombs. Our martyrdom is at hand."

As a practicing Catholic, this was my response: "Oh, barf. I'm sorry, but really, barf. The guy is a FAR cry from perfect, but really... This is just silly."

I mean, really. Come the fuck on.

Seems like some big changes have gotten their small waves going, good for the same sex marriage and recreational marijuana use!

A little something about the presidential battle, looking from other side of the world.
I can only speak for myself and the articles and news I have read, but mainly the most read yellow papers and few of the highest respected newspapers have been very friendly towards Obama's re-election and making Romney to seem like a bit of a childish candidate.
As far as I know, I could see Obama as the only winner, and if Romney was elected, it would cause major difficulties to the rest of the world too.
I have done some reading after the election went on, and was suprised when I read some american people stating their thoughts and some harsh fact charts and numbers about what has been going on on Obama's run.
I wondered, had I only been blocked off from the real life that's going on in USA, and living in a dream where Obama could actually do something for the every day ordinary average american, and actually life there is just one drop away from riots and havoc in the streets!

I don't know rat's butt about politics, and I don't believe our media is able to bring us reliable and no-one's side information so all I can basically do, is hope that everybody has sufficient amount of money (or something valuable they can exchange for services in case there some day will be no more dollars or euros as currency) and strong health and good nerves to survive. And make it to the future! Levitating skateboards (hoverboard?) and self-lacing shoes, here we come!
And what I wanted to say, was that I would have voted for Obama.

Politics are not my thing, can you tell? :D
I would like to get the hang of it, but it goes so far back and so much is going on behind the doors with all the money being related to running countries.
Stay healthy and grow your own food! :D

Obama hasn't been perfect, but there's a lot of misinformation about his run.

The wailing and gnashing of teeth from hardcore Republicans has been absolutely ridiculous. I mean, honestly, it's as though Satan literally (and I do mean LITERALLY) beat Jesus for the presidency. The dramatics have been astonishing.

Personally I'm relieved that the world stage won't be graced with another climate change denying, God-tells-me-what-to-do-in-my-dreams, globally ignorant flag wearer.

Obama's been disappointing in relation to his promises but he's the lesser of two evils by far.

That Tumblr page is hilarious.

People like them make me want to change my accent and revoke my citizenship.

And now for something completely different:

My sister's birthday was today, so I went to her house, met some of her friends. She had a jumping castle, so I joined in the fun. Mostly running and bouncing off the walls. Then I tried to do a back-flip, as everyone else tried one and it looked fun. Bad idea.
I landed around my shoulders and neck and did a backwards roll askew. Immediately I left the castle and put some frozen peas on it, before receiving a neck massage which made things better. Decided not to go back in after that.
Anyway, we a cake that was made to look like boobs with cherry tassels later on, so that was nice.
