Conveniently, I also scored a job interview at the local Regal Theater. Yeah, it's the generic choice, but it's a first job, so I can't complain. The free movies are good too :D

In high school I worked at the pizza place across the street from a movie theater. Trades were made, and I saw every movie that came out in 2002.

My first job was dishwashing in a Chinese retaurant. Once had to clean a plate that had a fish head that appeared to be regurgitated whole.

At least they gave me a free box of rice to take home once.

My first job was in an art shop like 10 years ago. My mum's friend owns it so I still chill out there on a Saturday sometimes and knit in the corner, naturally using stock wool and then taking it home without paying for it. I got a fairly obsessive knowledge of artsy materials, offered advice to a middle-aged woman in the shop a few months ago and was greeted with condescension; I put that bint in her place though. I was like "BITCH I CAN DO YOUR WHIMSICAL PAINTING BOLLOCKS IN MY SLEEP BACKWARDS I'M AMAZING."
Turns out she's a regular customer who's rude as fuck so it was cool.

In other news, Amber and I are working on a really exciting project right now, I've gone from freaking out about it to being excited about it in just one day!!
