I have my 25th birthday coming up soon, so I ordered myself a pair of boots.
They are awesome, but now I started to think that I don't actually want them, because
I don't wear that kinda shoes anymore.
So I have awesome shoes that I don't use, it means that they stay in good condition for
some time, and then I can sell them for high price and buy the damn ibanez bass that
I have been gazing over!

So yeah, I try to see the bright side here :D

That's funny sarai! At least you're really looking at something you will get more use out of! ;)

Also, I got this comment on one of my videos on youtube: (forgive the poor grammar and spelling, you know how youtubers can be...)

"watching u cover this song is the reason i practice guitar 3 hours a day. I just started lesson and playing about 3-4... weeks ago sadly. I just wanted to say u fucking shred, and u are a big inspiration. thanks "

Wouldn't it be better to just cancel the boots you ordered, Sari?

Can you all do me a favor?
Indulge me and listen to this song - or part of it. The fretless bass is UNREEEAAAALLLL :o :D
Is it not some of the finest fretless bass you've ever heard? At first I thought it was Colin Edwin, but it's this dude Mick Karn. UNREAL. Colin could totally pull that out though, just sayin'. 8)

It's awesome track penis.

I have this in my youtubian bookmarks

With Mick Karn too. His playing in Japan was weird, though:

I fucking love youtube - check the keyboardist - it's young Richard Barbieri.

It really is :D
Young Barbieri? He was young once? Shocking! =D I knew he was in Japan, just never seen any footage of it - youtubian favorited.
Efffffff Mick Karn for having a Wal :o No, it's actually really awesome, and it sounds great. Steven Wilson seems to like people who play fretless Wal basses, props.

This is a really cool videos for you guitar players. Not quite sure how this thing operates, but it kinda seems like the classical-guitar-version of a Chapman Stick er something like that.

I guess Pin from Sikth hasnt been lazy since the split.

Not very much there, but you can get a gist of what his new band "Within the Void" is about. Definitely has some of that Sikth sound to it (which is fucking awesome) and it seems a bit more serious this time.

Cannot wait to hear more from these guys.

^ that it is

Just plain awesome:

The singers in my upcoming project are going to be working on vocals for my song "Entranced" Unfortunately, they arent melodic singers...so expect it to be a bit rough. I would like to hear some cleans in that song to be honest, but we'll see how they do and how much I like it.

Doesnt surprise me. Fredrik has known about Periphery about as long as I have. Bulb has been posting his stuff all over the Meshuggah forums for years and the guys from the band most definitely check those forums from time to time.

Either way, that is fucking awesome. I remember the guys from Meshuggah being fucking awesome in person, that's for sure.
