Absolutely. The last few years have not been overly good to me, for all sorts of shitty reasons.
Now I have re-emerged, blinking and shading my eyes...into the light again. (<-gotta wear shades)

I'd be depressed if I wasn't me, too.

I suffered a lot with depression when I was younger - I was in and out of therapy from a young age until my late teens - and I'm still prone to worrying a lot, but these days I consider myself a friendly, outgoing and generally upbeat person. It's just part of growing up, and it's generally an intelligent mind that doubts itself and obsesses over things. I've worked in a warehouse for almost ten years now and the environment pretty much forces you to come out of your shell and interact a lot with other people, which helps a lot.

But then I realise I'm me and I'm awesome again.
