I'm still often tempted to have a go at that. There are some crazy builds out there.

Get Adobe Premiere Pro, then you can have both your sexyflexy PC laptop and a really fresh editing software. As you should be aware, all the Adobe programmes work with each other; so you got that bonus, and if I can use it as a very very stupid person, I'm sure it won't take long for you to get used it it. You can also get plugins and that for it which are kinda hench. I've used it on my

It would be awesome if the Meatball shirt is available at the merch stands - if not, I'll just do an online order later.

They might not have it, cause there'll be a lot of merch to bring over a long way from the UK, it could be limited...but you know, I'm just guessing. Give Paul and Mike St-Jean kissies for me.

It's entirely up to him, my personal thoughts are that if he wants a new laptop (different strokes for different folks, I wouldn't want a refurb) that does everything except one specific thing...BUT there is a slightly different alternative that works just as well, I'd do that. Sometimes you do have to learn another way of doing things you were used to...but you know...it's fun :B If there were many reasons for Seanyboy wanting a Mac I'd say go for it, I don't think one reason (which could leave him restricted) is enough to warrant a massive spendag

The largest lobster in the world, 40 inches long and 27 pounds heavy, which they let back into the wild after its capture. Nice of them.
What makes this photo strange for me is that the woman holding the animal looks like one of my friends - all she needs is a cardboard suit of armor and she could be his doppelganger.

I just saw this picture, and I thought it was Emily Deschanel holding a giant lobster. And in my mind I thought, "Bones? Why are you holding that lobster?"

That's a sincerely really nice Asus. I'd go with that if you go with Violet on this.

Final Cut's still the industry standard, despite what all of the hullabaloo may have been said after FCPX first launched. I would, however, say it's good practice to get a handle on both. I will also say that Adobe's programs tend to not be the most efficiently managed on a PC, and that I've had a better experience using Premiere on my Mac.

To put it another way, a good PC's like a nice hot rod, you get what you put into it. A Mac's like a Lexus/Mercedes. It's nice, aesthetically pleasing, and relatively simple to use, but it costs more for accomplishing what a sedan can.

As far as hackintosh notebooks go, you have to get specific architecture, and it ultimately ends up being about the same in price. If you go for a desktop, it's loads cheaper, and there are less specific pieces that you need. There are a ton of guides to doing so out there. I'm kinda waiting on the Mac Pro refresh that's a few years behind before I build mine.

Bleh. Never going laptop again. Fucking heat and "can't-fix-it-yourself"-issues. :P Build your own desktop PC and install OSX on it. I've got a really powerful machine at the moment (which I just a few days ago actually started making music on) and it was a bit cheaper than a macbook pro. You can crank up the RAM and CPU to whatever you want for 1/4th the price. Take care of it and it'll last for ages, just upgrade components. Unless you're going to be dragging it around everywhar. My opinion

I would like to go desktop but for my lifestyle right now it just makes more sense to have a laptop, honestly. I take my laptop all over the place.

I dunno, gots some thinking to do. Torn, and fucking SUCK at making decisions. It's a good point too on mastering both Cody, I should take a look at Premiere. Thanks fur all your guys help though.

If you mean at the Dev/Meshuggah show I wouldn't think so, there wasn't at the actual Soundwave merch stands. They had the brown one with Dev on the bike, and a sweet tour shirt with dates on the back and Ziltoid lighting his farts on fire on the front. :P That's all I recall seeing, though..

I understand the way they're supplied probably has something to do with it but I don't really know anything about how that works, so who knows I spose!
