The Mercedes G is actually pretty decent off-road. If you want a Porsche/BMW like Mercedes SUV, get the ML-series.
When the Dutch army had to buy new off-road vehicles, they were thinking about Hummers (The old Schwarzenegger ones) or G-wagons. The damn assholes got the Mercedes! Damnit! Those old Hummers are way cooler!
