I think Devin will be doing less screaming in future, but his style of screaming-through-a-wind-tunnel-at-the-top-of-a-mountain type vocals are very cool

I don't really listen to much SYL

While it's not the house I grew up in or anything it just feels good to be with family. And not having to work is a plus too :D

See, this is what I read.

I thought: "bloody hell, they must be either really snowed in down there, or auditioning for some weird Dutch reality TV show..."

Yeah, it's caught me off guard quite some times aswell. Me being all in the chilly mood after finishing Ocean Machine, then being scared to shit.

my last.fm account says i listen to 10x more devin townsend than SYL, but that's only because of ocean machine. apart from that, i listen to way more SYL.

Close, we were on the set of a Dutch reality show but got snowed in and, you know, one thing led to another...

ooh.. well, as soon as i realise 'the thing beyond us' is winding down.. i tend to start the album again.. i may have never encountered it because by the time the album draws to a close i go back and start relistening to tracks... that.. or ive become too deafened to notice!

I probably was delayed getting into DT by about 2-3 years because someone sent me some SYL "Satans Icecream Truck" and I thought what the hell is this crap. lol.

I like some SYL now but that was not the best introduction to Devins music

so apparently some of the inmates over at the prison (just half a block away) tried to riot last night, but SOMEHOW things went wrong and instead they just caused a bigass fire, which KEPT ME FROM GETTING SOME FUCKING DECENT SLEEP

Watching the £4 million quid's worth of fireworks go up in Sydney's new year bash was very lovely. Music selection was a bit nuts but the display was spot on chaps!!

A Happy New Year to you over there and a Happy Hogmanay to everyone else around here.

For us? The Hogmanay party in the village hall tonight should be pleasant.
