If those aren't lyrics or something similar, they should be.

Nah, just something I thought to write when I read fullgore's post.

Wow, the atmosphere is surely in a hurry.

Yep, it was a bit of a stiff breeze there for a while!

Had a bit of an adventure getting home from school when they closed us at lunchtime and the power was out for the afternoon. We sat by the fire while the trees complained loudly outside. My daughter took a quick tour of the farm to check what was happening and tells me a small shed has been demolished and several doors have been blown off their hinges. I guess we'll find out tomorrow if there's worse damage. Meanwhile it's not as noisy outside now.

Glad I wasn't standing on the Cairngorms though... 165mph might cause one to lose one's footing a little bit.

I just spoke to my friend from Kilbarchan via FB. She and her husband foolishly went out shopping in it.
She looked away briefly and he disappeared. She thought he'd ducked into a shop.

45 minutes later, she got a phone call. He was at a public phone in Stavanger...

 It's probably not that much of an exaggeration! Most of our difficulties getting home involved massive flooding. This is probably the only time I've appreciated driving the pick-up truck! I could get through them when cars had to turn back.

They're remaking American Psycho.

I AM GOING TO FUCKING KILL SOMEONE WITH AN AXE, IN THE FACE, AND DISSOLVE THEIR BODY IN A BATHTUB IN HELL'S KITCHEN

Why can't they fucking quit making fucking remakes and try have a god damn original idea. Remaking The Crow was bad enough, but this!? NOBODY is going to be able to better Christian Bale in that role. I cannot believe that Brett Easton Ellis is allowing this to happen. I'm fucking disgusted.

The fuck?

They better not. That is just going too far. Setting it in a modern context is just retarded.

I know like! I cannot wrap my head around it. They're only gonna give it a tiny budget as well so what's the bloody point!? Lionsgate have a fucking hard-on for trying to fuck with American Psycho... The made that American Psycho 2 piece of shit back in 2002 with Mila Kunis and now this. Fucking hell.

And the fucking director!?

Lionsgate is reportedly moving forward with a remake of American Psycho penned by music video director Noble Jones.

Jones, whose only major motion picture experience comes from directing the second unit for David Fincher’s The Social Network, is better known for his work on music videos for Taylor Swift and Mary J. Blige.

Well he certainly sounds like he knows what he's doing with a timeless cult classic. I usually don't get so animated about this stuff but just... it's so pointless and they're just going to shit all over everything. For FUCK SAKE. God I hope this gets scrapped.

Still annoyed by the upcoming American version of the Millennium films. Even if they are good... IT IS POSSIBLE TO WATCH SWEDISH FILMS EVEN IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE LANGUAGE. In fact, it wouldn't hurt to watch something that isn't American, or god forbid, not in English, once in a while. :P Silly Hollywood.

yeah, this remake bullshit is getting out of hand. Hollywood must be seriously desperate. The remake of 'Let the right one in' already pissed me off and was completely unnecessary. Then remaking the Millenium trilogy...pointless. No one's gonna play Lisbeth better than Noomi did. Period. I love David Fincher but he should have shown better judgement in that regard. No one's gonna watch the swedish originals because there's these big budget remakes that have all sorts of well known names written all over them. Ugh. Fucking Atrocious. Same goes for [rec] and that pointless remake Quarantine which is the exact movie copied and pasted 1:1.

And American Psycho is the cherry on top of the shit cake. It's one of my favorite movies, Bale is one of my favorite actors. and Hollywood's gonna take it and shit all over it. Awesome. Same goes for 'The Crow'...

At least they haven't decided to remake Jaws. Fuck, if they ever do, I don't know how insane/angry I'm going to get, but it'll be bad.
