I have never been able to hear what everyone else seems to hear about Mastodon. I have heard all their releases numerous times but just don't get them. Dethklok doesn't sound like anything more than a novelty to the TV cartoon and I don't know the rest.

Bryan Beller (aka Murderface) is incredible though - based on this video alone, one might think he's like a thrash guy, or exclusively metal - but the guy's a Berkelee alumnus, he's a hell of a bass player, can do anything... except pick maybe.
