Haha... I'll be on a plane to Australia in a few days. No way I'm sharing it with him!

Hope the golf thing was real... pretty funny.

I HAVE. That video was a riot.

Really nice sound, Alucard. Your intonation is perfect. But as always with songs where you're playing along while the actual song plays in the background, it's difficult to predict exact tempo changes. Maybe you should do a recording of the guitar and sing over it? It's lovely though.

Thanks. And I know, I'm still trying to find a better way to do these videos...

Headphones. The sound quality is pretty good, especially if you're just using a webcam, but wear headphones so people can identify the sound you're making easier.

That's still brilliant, though.

Tried that. The thing is, I like to have the song in the background so it doesnt sound weak. I need a new, faster video editing program to work with. That way I can add in a backing track and adjust the levels accordingly

Thanks man, there's so much Opeth stuff I used to and still do play. I'm probably going to cover Closure next. Show off my nice Martin acoustic :P

Buy yourself an acoustic guitar.

Also Lindgren Opeth > Akesson Opeth. Although I'll give him time to evolve.

Haha dude I have 2 acoustics, an Ibanez nylon string and a CF Martin DX-1

And yes, old Opeth is better. And I should be Opeth's new guitarist, not that Fredrik dude.

He's not bad. He just definitely works better alongside someone like Michael Amott than alongside someone like Michael Akerfeldt.

On a completely different note, check out the documentary Genghis Blues if you ever get the chance... amazing singing, a beautiful meeting of cultures, and a man who never got the "legendary" status he deserved:

Very true. He's a better guitarist than I'll probably ever be. But he still isn't the right fit for a band like Opeth.

Wow, I love the first guy's human digereedoo gutteral singing capabilities. And the other guy's costume is hilarious. Is that racist? I don't care. It's insane. I love it. He rearry knows what he's doing. It's fucking savage to listen to. And the footage of him as a cowboy had me in stitches...
