Awesome is not having to report in for jury duty! I love those sweet words... you have fulfilled your jury duty for one year... or however it's phrased.
Since I had turned 18, I've gotten 3 summons in 4 years. 3 out of 4! I know you're technically supposed to get one every year, but so many people don't... I thought I'd go unnoticed for a couple years.

I got a summons last year for July 2nd, this year they sent me one for the 7/14. They got me a year and 12 DAYS later this time - it's like they were just waiting to pounce. My mom and dad also got them

I'm going to be a teacher so I won't have to do it. We're exempt.

I remember I had a maths teacher who was a dumb bitch and she ALWAYS went for jury duty even though she was exempt. She had that little interest in teaching. I hated her so much.

I haven't gotten one yet and I'm nearly 19. I don't think it's as prevalent here.
