This one is for the nerdier ones: Elevated by RGBA^TBC - winner of 4k intro compo on Breakpoint 2009 demo party. 3d mountain landscape, with pretty music. In 4 kilobytes. That's procedurally generated content for ya.
Binary here

I am technologicaly.....retarded lol and thus completely ignorant when it comes to demos, but I can appreciate the work put into them. Someone shared this with me the other day.

I could bore you to death with that demoscene shit, I love it, especially stuff from 90s - just check stuff I've recorded and uploaded in "los demos" playlist on my youtube channel (it's in my signature). Sole genuinely non-commercial and honest, no bullshit branch of art for me.
To cut it short - one curious thing and I stfu about it. There's cool, famous, critically acclaimed and whatnot PS3/X360 game called Little Big Planet. Dude that co-founded developing company that made it (and who wrote large part of the engine), was known as Statix/Psychic Link back then. He wrote this, when 15 or 16 years old - programmed, did graphics and wrote music:
It's from 1996, runs on DOS, requiring 486 processor and VGA card (whopping 256 colours).
OK I'm fucking off now, I'm dangerously close to start of total boredom
