I love you! That's always the best way to approach things!

oh and I guess I'm gonna download the extended ending for ME3 tonight and then will check it out in the coming days. Should be interesting! First time I'll play a game in 3 months, heh.

I'm back home on holiday at the moment, so without access to my xbox I decided to go back and play through the stuff in my steam library that I never finished or got into. Starting with Bully, I only played this game for about an hour when I bought it and thought I'd give it another go. I love the concept, it's real neat but it's so hard to play any Rockstar game without comparing it to GTA. It's a fun game but I'm about 8 hours in and the plot is almost non-existent, the controls are a bit dodgy (I'm using an xbox controller and you can't turn and walk without the character running in circles) and the sound is all screwed up, NPCs constantly talk over each other at full volume and repeat the same dialogue over and over... it's still pretty enjoyable though, supposedly there's going to be work on a sequel now that Max Payne 3 is out, I'd like to see the whole concept elaborated on a bit and polished.

downloaded the extended ending for Mass Effect 3 and played the last few missions and I must say they did a good job. I am 100% certain there will still be a ton of people that will just keep crying because they expected something as emo as Final Fantasy 13 (they might also have other reasons to whine) but I'm liking it. A lot of questions that people had get answered, there's more dialogue to further explain the ending and more cut scenes and additional footage in the end. Some of that footage is still pictures but I blame that on Microsoft's DLC size limitations (the file is close to 2 GB big) and it's really just a very small portion of all the additional stuff. I'm glad they didn't actually 'change' the ending and just expanded it instead.

Also, I noticed that I went into the final battle with only 50% readiness and still got the best possible ending.

I should probably be playing SSX, or starting Dragon Age 2 or even playing SoulCalibur 5 some more, but nope. Instead, I've been playing TimeSplitters: Future Perfect. That game is all types of glorious, from gameplay, to multiplayer, to humour, to minigames (MONKEY CURLING), and everything in between. The industry needs a next/current gen sequel, now more than ever in an age flooded with cookie-cutter military shooters.

My gaming at the moment remains a few minutes on my iPhone. Sadly I don't have time for much else.

But that did lead me to downloading League of Evil for free - It's a fun, old school platformer with really nice controls. Some levels are tricky as all hell, but I keep coming back for one more go.

I'm still happily plodding around New Vegas. Must've logged close to 110 hours now, and still haven't begun to shift the balance of power. There's so much stuff to explore... :D

What was I thinking ordering Skyrim already?

Also, weekends are beginning to contain more and more Trackmania time as well. Gotta have something to do without Xbox access. :)

There's hope it may actually be decent. At least the Fass will do his bit.

"OUYA: A New Kind of Video Game Console"

That shit is mental. Currently people are pledging roughly $3,000 per minute, and they've gotten to their target of $950,000 in one day. In fact they just broke past $1,000,000... And there's still 29 days to go for them to get more development money. It's gonna be an Android-based console that apparently won't even cost $100 when it goes on sale in the US market next year. Seems like a pretty cool idea that a LOT of people are interested in!

3,000 is literally what we're asking for total in our kickstarter for the film I'm working on. Nuts.

So, the Steam Summer Sale has been raping my wallet for the past few days. I've gotten the F.E.A.R. Franchise, Nexuiz, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, and Saints Row: The Third. I'm not able to play any of them except F.E.A.R. at the moment, but I'm getting a new computer (after all these years!) tonight, so I'll be able to play those and every other game I've gotten over the years that I couldn't before. Come to think of it, there really should be a HevyDevyForums Steam Group or something...

The Steam Summer Sale has been raping my mind, I'm broke, haha. Two of my friends were sweet enough to gift me games though; Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone which is by the publishers of Recettear, a game I thoroughly enjoyed, and The Binding of Isaac, which I completely suck at but am enjoying nonetheless. I can't say I usually enjoy games in which you only get one life, though. :P

Some sort of HevyDevy Steam group would be sweet. I coulda sworn there was actually a thread for that, but a quick search returned nothing. I'm the same username here, there, and pretty much everywhere though so I'm not hard to find, if anyone's interested.
