Either a wee plane was on fire and coming down or we just witnessed a stonking great, fiery, meteorite heading south across Perthshire. Not seen anything like it before... it was indeed AWESOME!

Brill.

I've been close a couple of times. About 20 years back -- a mate and I were driving to South Australia overnight, and stopped by the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, for a pee and a smoke. :ross:

Next thing, something came down almost vertically with a "zzzzzz!" sound and made a soft-ish "thump" sound in the paddock about 50 metres or so from where we were standing...in the rain. I looked up at the clouds and yelled: "You missed!" and my mate Alan fell over and nearly vomited/shat from laughing.

Unfortunately in the darkness and long wet grass - we couldn't find our little planetary-intruding attempted assassin.

Another was during the Leonids of Nov. 2001. It was a crappy night for viewing here - cold and overcast. One little speck, however...came through the low cloud - lighting it up as it passed...like something out of Close Encounters.
Absolutely religious experience.

Keep us informed if any more details spring up, eh dubya? :D

They'll still probably try attribute that to children becoming more obese and less sexy, though. It's a terrible time we live in...

My boss is going to Milan for the next few days so I get to run the shop! Given the current levels of customers we are experiencing this will basically entail me getting paid for around 40 hours of "work" that will mostly be spent watching a large selection of episodes from my recently-downloaded collection of the first fourteen seasons of The Simpsons and making clips from said episodes for me and my buddies to fling at each other on facebook. I luv mah jawb!

AHAHAAH! Well at least it wasn't a plane crash that everyone thought "meh, just a shooting star!"

New South Park in a week and a half. That's fucking awesome. And Lula's first birthday next week! I think we've bought more balloons than we had at the Deconstruction gig...

This is awesome to, it's the band who's hoodie I like, mostly live in n shit.
