My grandfather is in the hospital for three days due to a problem with his white blood cells, currently getting treatment. I spoke to him this morning, he said that it isn't life threatening (so long as treatment is applied), just a nuisance. Here's to a speedy recovery.

I can relate. Don't really know if it's particularly healthy to be at work when ill, but we are understaffed at my place of employment as well.

AND...vet just called with Rowan's blood work. He has hyperthyroidism. Which means medication, which will be great fun to give because Rowan is a completely sentient being and takes no shit from anyone...healthy otherwise, which is great news.

Meanwhile, I think it is safe to assume that the cortisone in my left knee has worn off.
Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. Hopefully the Doc will puncture me again, so I can get back to doing normal human activities...like walking.
